Events in Schärding
Schärding is famous for its beautiful historic sights such as the “Silberzeile” or the “Wassertor”; however, the city is also well known for being the place of large-scale events all over the year. Every year, at the beginning of summer break in Upper Austria, Schärding’s popular “Schlemmerfest” festival turns the town centre into a culinary paradise. Lovers of good food from near and afar come to Schärding to enjoy international culinary delicacies offered throughout the old town, the city square and in the castle park. On three consecutive evenings, visitors can indulge themselves with international cuisine from all around the world.
One of Schärding’s most spectacular locations for holding events besides the city square is certainly the castle park. Surrounded by big trees and beautiful flowers this place spreads a remarkable atmosphere amongst visitors.
