The Fürstenfeld outdoor pool – Europe’s largest – offers plenty of room for sun worshipers and endurance swimmers, for bathing beauties, water rats and non-swimmers of all ages. The distinctive 10-metre diving platform is a main attraction for those seeking adventure and the sports pool is the nonplus ultra for sport enthusiasts. The speed slide, 115 metres long, further enhances the pool’s awesome recreational opportunities. In addition to the large pool there is also a 50-metre sports pool and many recreational facilities such as 6 beach volleyball courts, trampolines, table tennis and excellent food services.
The campground is ideally located right on the Feistritz River but borders on the premises of the outdoor pool and has direct access to it.

Legend trail & motoric skills activity park
The legend trail is a 14 km walking path connecting the Fürstenfeld Pfeilburg Castle with the Altenmarkt parish church. It was developed as a theme trail and leads through the Buchwald Forest shrouded in legend. Along the way you’ll learn about the history of Fürstenfeld and environs while entering a world of mythology and legend…. “HEXENRITT, DREHWURM, RIESENSTEINRAD”? Never heard of them with their witch, worm and giant wheel? Then off to the motoric skills park in Buchwald (legend trail). The 10 stops along the way are a guarantee for fun and a real experience for body, mind and soul!
