Pottery Market
On the last weekend in August, the town of Gmunden has set the tone for three decades when it comes to arts and crafts made of clay, porcelain and other ceramic masses. Every year 130 potters from many European countries meet at the Traunsee. They transform the city of Gmunden on the pottery market weekend once again into a large colorful marketplace for excellent ceramic arts and crafts. The pottery market is not only a good opportunity for visitors and lovers of ceramic art to get a good overview of the European ceramic scene, there is also certainly something for every taste.
